Natural Horn Workshop
June 9 - 13, 2025
This five-day workshop is open to students, teachers, professional players, and amateurs 18 years of age and over. It is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural horn and baroque, classical, and romantic performance practice.
During the week, participants will:
- Play solo music with fortepiano or modern piano in a daily two-hour masterclass.
- Play in an afternoon playing session focusing on the natural horn as an orchestra and chamber instrument.
- Rehearse each evening in a horn trio or quartet for an informal performance at the end of the week.
- Receive two 45-minute private lessons with Prof. Seraphinoff and one lesson from guest teacher John Manganaro.
