The Jacobs School of Music is located near the intersection of North Eagleson Avenue (formerly Jordan Avenue) and East Third Street. Our buildings include the East Studio Building, Bess Meshulam Simon Music Library and Recital Center, Musical Arts Center, Georgina Joshi Recording Studio, Merrill Hall, Music Annex, and Music Practice Building; learn more about them here.

Visitor parking
Visitors may park on the upper level of the East Parking Garage Monday through Friday for an hourly rate; free parking is available Friday, 6PM through Monday, 7AM.
Free parking is also available on the weekends, except for Home Game days. Any vehicles with or without a permit, may park in in any CH or ST space Friday, 5PM through Sunday, 11PM unless otherwise posted.
Accessible parking
Metered parking may be found in the East Parking Garage. For access to other locations, a Disabled permit must be purchased and displayed. If you would like assistance or more information about accessible parking, please contact the Office of Parking Operations at 812-855-9848.
Parking permit
Jacobs Academy students and families are eligible to purchase a pre-college permit for $52 per semester. Your child's program director must first contact the Office of Parking Operations to authorize individuals to purchase pre-college permits. Please contact your program director or administrator before visiting. Once confirmed, they may be purchased in-person at the Office of Parking Operations: Henderson Parking Garage, 310 S. Fess Avenue, Bloomington, Indiana 47401.
The pre-college permit allows access to the Atwater and East Garages. It also allows for parking in spaces adjacent to the music school facilities; this includes the Music Circle - 478, Presidents Lot - 484, Read - SW Lot 536. This does not include access to campus housing (CH), reserved (R), disabled (D) spaces; nor at curbs, fire drives, loading zones, or metered parking areas.
