Jacobs Virtual Academy (JVA)

Welcome to Jacobs Virtual Academy, where distance won’t stop music lovers from joyfully gathering. Jacobs Academy has been training passionate teachers for decades, and we are dedicated to expanding the reach of this successful and necessary work. We recognize that learning to play music has long-term, positive effects and we are happy to share the tools to do it online.

Combining in-person and virtual lessons, JVA teaching artists and language interpreters work with local and global students. Using high-quality, personalized lessons, we offer lessons on instruments involved in concert band, jazz band, and orchestra, as well as guitar, piano, voice, and music theory.

We're on a mission to amplify musical experience and cultivate growth across diverse schools and communities. We’ll bring the tools and experience; you bring the passion and curiosity. Let’s have fun making and learning about music together—across Indiana, throughout the country, and around the world!
