The Karen Tuttle Coordination Workshop is a workshop for teachers, professionals, and advanced students to explore Karen Tuttle’s teaching principles, namely her physical and emotional approach to music and the viola, termed Coordination. These concepts will be introduced and demonstrated to all of the participants. Faculty scheduled to participate are Sheila Browne, Susan Dubois, Edward Gazouleas, Jeffrey Irvine, Kim Kashkashian, Michelle LaCourse, Lynne Ramsey, Karen Ritscher, Carol Rodland, and Stephen Wyrczynski.
Karen Tuttle Workshop
Stephen Wyrczynski is professor of music in viola at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and an artist-faculty member at the Aspen Music Festival. Wyrczynski was a member of the Philadelphia Orchestra. He received degrees from Curtis and Juilliard. His teachers were Kim Kashkashian, Karen Tuttle, and Joseph DePasquale.
